Hamza King

Hamza graduated with Distinction in Philosophy & Public Policy (MSc) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He writes on moral, social, and political philosophy, with specialism in business and organisational ethics, the postliberal movement, behavioural economics, and the ethics of climate displacement. He hosts ‘The Phlexible Philosohy Podcast’ sitting down with leading academics to discuss the ways that their ideas can be put into practice.

Mark Fox
EDITOR
Mark has a PhD in Religious Science from the University of Luzern and an MA in Religion from Kings College, London. He is a Research Associate at the Centre for Religion, Economics and Politics at the University of Zurich. His work on the conduct of interreligious dialogue the intersection of secular governance and religion has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. He is an optimist who refuses to accept the assertion that religious divide has been or is necessarily responsible for human misery, but believes that it can be a force for good.

Jack Aldane
EDITOR & ILLUSTRATOR
Jack is a British journalist, cartoonist and podcaster who is currently a Senior Writer at Global Government Forum, having previously edited opinion writing for UnHerd and Apolitical. As host and producer of The Booking Club podcast – a conversation series featuring prominent authors and commentators at their favourite restaurants – Jack continues to engage today’s most distinguished thinkers on problems pertaining to ideology and power in the 21st century. His core philosophical interest is the limits of progress conceived as a linear trajectory, and its impact on culture and public policy in the West.

Daniel Lyons

Daniel lives in Seattle where he works as a team lead for Smurfit Westrock. He has degrees in creative writing and political science. Most of Daniel's writing examines modern political philosophy and the philosophy of art.

Gene Glotzer
EDITOR
Gene runs a blog called Nutmegger Daily, which shares work that provides perspectives and commentary on modern life. He is a writing tutor at Capital Community College in Connecticut, where he lives with his daughter. Gene is studying to be a secondary language arts teacher and His writing interests span from film to baseball, but all his writing draws on philosophy to snap people out of their conventional patterns of thought.

After a long career investing in Emerging Market, Jon is pursuing a Masters in Philosophy at LSE. His interests include political economy; and taking his dog Max for a round of golf.

Luna is currently pursuing her MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy at the London School of Economics. Her work examines the interaction between philosophy, economics, and public policy, with a focus on the ethical implications of financial policymaking.

Louie Lang
Louie is a recent prize-winning graduate from the University of Cambridge, where he studied Ethics of AI, Data and Algorithms (MPhil). Before that, he graduated from the University of Bristol in Philosophy (BA). Perhaps unsurprisingly, then, his research and writing interests revolve around philosophy and AI ethics. His current particular focus is on the moral problems associated with human-AI relationships.

Dexter McLean
Dexter Mclean is a freelance photographer whose method operates in a space between documentary and portraiture. He uses his photography to present the disabled community in a more accurate and dignified manner, and has recently won the Royal Photographic Society’s Hood Award, in recognition of how his work has contributed to public service.
